2016 Toyota Tacoma

Our colleagues at the Toyota Corporate offices are remaining very quiet about upcoming release about the 2016 Toyota Tacoma.  However, they have been kind enough to release some obscured photos and a video of the all new 2016 Toyota Tacoma.  What will actually be offered by the 2016 Tacoma remains a total mystery.  However, this is the kind of thing that we at Bone's Toyota offices like to wildly speculate about.  With any luck, we will get at least some of these correct.  Again, anything we talk about here is simply an educated guess.

The new teaser shot of the 2016 Toyota Tacoma features a portion of the front end.  It does appear that the midsize pickup truck isn’t going to change much.  There may be some new accent pieces around the headlights, which also seem like they are a little different.  There could possibly be LEDs with projection beams.  That would be an advantage for people planning to take the truck off road.  The pronounced “chin” of the 2016 Tacoma looks like it could have a little more of an aggressive aesthetic to it.  It really looks like the chin on the 2015 4Runner, if you would like a frame of reference.

As for the teaser video (above) for the 2016 Toyota Tacoma, it actually reveals less in the way of physical features, thanks to the truck being digitally erased from the clip.  The only remnants are a pair of dusty rooster tails being magically kicked up in the dirt.  However, the engine sound that plays for most of the length of the clip is crisp and very pleasing for a truck that is seemingly operating at a high rpm.  If that is the actual note, it would seem that Toyota has possibly opted for a smoother and more refined engine.  It could also point to a different exhaust set up or maybe we are all being hoodwinked and it’s just a recording a from prototype sitting on a dynamometer.

Regardless of what we think, the fact remains that all will be answered when the truck makes for its world debut on Jan. 12 at 11:50 central standard time at the Detroit Auto Show.  If you would like to be one of the first to own the 2016 Toyota Tacoma, contact a Bone's Toyota sales professional today and they will do everything they can in regards to setting up a pre-order.
